The Feeling Of "Being Pregnant"

The very feeling of “being pregnant” itself feels good and brings happiness to every women who undergo this phase of their life. But do not forget the fact that now you are not alone. You live for two and should eat for two people. Many women during their first pregnancy might be really confused about the Do’s and Don’t’s on what to eat? What food habits to follow? Exercises to be followed and a lot more questions…

So here’s few tips for you and your unborn baby’s wellbeing.

Proper Sleeping Posture

Proper Sleeping Posture for Pregnant Women's

#1 Get Enough Sleep

Sleep is very essential during your ‘first trimester’. Pregnant women’s tend to become tired during the stage of first trimester. This is stage when certain hormones are activated especially the pregnancy hormone “Progesterone”, expansion of the uterus etc. A growing fetus will definitely make the mother’s tired and they need to get enough sleep during this stage. Always follow the best rule of sleeping on your left side as this triggers blood circulation.

Eating for two

Eating For TWO

#2 The Perfect Diet

A pregnant women has to eat for two people during this stage – for themselves and for the baby inside her womb. Folic Acid supplements, essential nutrients like vitamins (especially Vit B), minerals and calcium are a must during pregnancy. Additional calories has to be taken during this stage for the growing baby. The additional calories should come from proper food groups like fruits and veggies and not from junk foods (as pregnant women might tend to crave for junk foods). Eat small meals frequently to avoid growling stomach.

#3 Consult your Physician

Do not try anything all by yourself. It is always advisable to consult your doctor or gynecologist for any doubts on medication or any intake of drugs that you usually take for your previous health problems. Get educated on everything about pregnancy from your doctor. Do not hesitate to consult them if you feel anything out of your way is happening. Discuss it out with your gynecologist.

Exercises During Pregnancy

Exercises During "Pregnancy"

#4 Get some light Exercises

Exercise is yet another essential part of your daily routine during pregnancy. However, exercise does not mean vigorous workouts like push up’s, sit up’s or tummy reducing exercises. Say a big NO to all these. slow walking is the best exercise at this stage. Morning walks are the best as you will get more oxygen that will help in blood circulation and will keep you energized and refreshing throughout the day.

No Alcohols-pregnancy

Strictly say NO to Alcohol, Drugs and Cigarettes

#5 Stay Away from Alcohol, Drugs & Cigaretts

Now this is the most important aspect of all. When you know you are conceived or even before that when you are planning for pregnancy, try staying away from drugs, alcohol or cigarettes. Also stay away from people who smoke. Be it at public place or inside your home. They might be really harmful for your growing fetus. So simply avoid them. Avoid any chemicals for that matter like strong perfumes, insect killer sprays, paint and pesticides etc.

Stay HAPPY During "Pregnancy"

#6 Be Happy

This might sound silly to most of us. But this also plays a vital role for the growing fetus when it’s in the mother’s womb. If you are emotionally upset about anything it might even affect your growing baby. Be it anger or sorrow, it harms your baby. So calm yourself and try to stay in a happy surrounding.

Wishing all future mother’s the very best!!! Take Care:)

"Hair Loss" is the most common problem amoung Womens

Hair Loss – An Alarming word for most of the Women

Hair Loss, has become the biggest day-to-day problem in 90% of the Women folks around the world. Ladies! Let me tell you something, whenever you comb or wash your hair and if you see strands of hair falling off effortlessly. “Do Not Panic!”.

It is quite common and natural if few strands of hair fall everyday. It is a symptom that the dead cells are falling and new strands of hair are growing. However, if it falls at a greater pace and volume you will have to consult a specialist.

Controlling “Hair Fall”

Let me give you few tips on how to control your hair loss to an extent. For those who feel you have lost your hair texture, or if you are one among those who needs nutritional facts for hair growth or if you are really worried and stressed out due to hair fall then this is for YOU.

Change Your Food Habits: If you are a person who is used to grabbing a piece of burger or French fries for your breakfast or light evening snacks then my advise would be to drop them off . Wondering what’s the relation of a Burger and Hair loss??? It is indeed. Because if you choose sprouts, egg, milk or foods rich in protein instead of burger, it would help provide all the nutritions your hair requires. So regulate your food habits by including some of the Green leafs, egg, protein rich food to your diet and you will see wonders happening. Try it out.

Say no to Chemicals: The latest and contemporary trend is to color your hair, Conditioners, use of gels and sprays, straightening or perming etc. Are you aware that all these can cause serious damage to your hair?? If you care for your hair, Learn to say NO to chemicals as they remove your texture and the natural shine gradually. Always use mild or herbal shampoos for your hair.  Also say NO to conditioners instead use herbal conditioners or if you wish to go natural, use “egg white” (they are the best natural conditioners for your hair)

Use of Hair Tonic: Just like how you take supplementary tonics for your body, like wise it is essential for each and every one of us to apply a Hair tonic on a daily basis. A hair tonic can even be a plain coconut oil, as they prevent them going dry and lifeless. Choose a hair tonic that is herbal and safe.

Cleanse your Hair: Always make it a habit to cleanse your hair periodically, as the dust, sweat and chemicals that settle down in your scalp can pave way to Dandruff.

Go For a Hot Oil Massage: Try a pampering yourself by giving yourself a jot oil massage for your hair. This will help soothe or relax  your nerves and improve the blood circulation that helps in hair growth.

So Ladies, next time when you see a strand of hair left behind in your comb or dressing table, Do Not Panic! Just follow the above and feel the difference.
